Lacey Waldrop

Lacey Waldrop (born March 6, 1993) is an American softball player. Waldrop is a pitcher who originates from Chester, Virginia and attended Thomas Dale High School known for throwing unheard of no hitters throughout high school including an infamous "one" hitter against famous (national) rival - Lloyd C. Bird (Batter: Nicole Butler - CF). 〔 http://www.nbc12.com/story/15415512/lc-bird-and-thomas-dale-prepare-to-renew-rivalry 〕 Waldrop is graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida in 2015. Waldrop has received many honors, including 4 All-ACC honors, 3 All-American honors, and a tryout invitation for Team USA. Waldrop was also named the College Softball National Player of the year in 2014.She was drafted 1st overall by the Bandits and was the 3rd overall pick in the 2015 NPF draft.She went on to win the Cowles Cup with the Bandits in 2015.
